I dont believe it has been over 2 years since the problem started and still happening with the latest update on Jan 2nd 2017... they dont care about fixing it they just "tock the game money and left"... good luck if you figure it out.

ive purchased the game watchdogs this morning from Tesco and its frozen on me four times in 2 hours. agree with everything thats being said. how a game can be released with such issues is beyond me. first time its ever happened. maybe its a sign that ubisoft and playstation are making cut backs on ps3 games now!!!!!. shame because their still charging the similiar prices...

I'm having the same issue, I cant find any threads anywhere that have managed to fix this issue. complete silence from ubisoft. I will boycott Ubisoft games and make sure I tell as many people as possible how bad they are.

I also had the same problem but I fixed it. Guys try this, 1) Delete the game from the ps3 data folder. 2) When on the watchdogs game icon on xmb press /\ (options) and select search for updates and update it. 3)Now install the game again. Worked for me, hope it works for you guys as well. Cheers,

They can optimize the game code to make it better but with this game engine its a draw call issues bc of DX11. They will never fix this issue DX11 is with crappy optimized engine equals big time draw call bound thats why it gets worst when driving.

i haven't had the exact same issue, but what i have had happen is this: i bought the game, and when i loaded it for the first time, it asked me to update it before it was installed. i agreed. installed the game and got to the main menu, but when i was in the actual game, MANY sounds were missing. i uninstalled the game and re installed WITHOUT the update, and it works fine. any ideas on what the problem was?

that is imposoble. you whould have to ban. the way most trainers work is by changing address with cheat engen. so even you were abble to block the trainer people could still chaet with cheat engen. the only way is to BAN the who are hacking sorry for my bad spelling cuz i relly dot care

I don't think Ubisoft should stop producing games, but I think they should resolve the issue. When there is an issue with your car…the car is recalled and repaired. Why not do the same here? Let the public know there is an issue with the game, that it will be resolved and when can we expect to play the game without it freezing. As with a lot of other people, I am out $50!!

I fixed it what I did was delete the game info on my ps3 and reinstall hopefully this works for you guys

I bought the game 4 hours ago, did all the updates and installation required and I got the same error!!! I couldn't get pass the main screen with "press x " my console works perfectly fine !!! Ok, I found a solution. My graphics settings were set to low, and I raised them to medium. The textures inside the silo may not have been rendered at low resolution levels, and this needs to be fixed, but in the meantime, just raise your graphics quality to at least medium and it ought to work for ya.

Later it WILL ask you to update, update it. After that I did not have problems and started playing normally.

Could u please do the same with The Pure E3 2012 mod, which for me its a little bit better that The Worse in case of shaders.

maybe i have a solution for the problem. i changed the keylayout in the game for myself and it seems the game still waits for the push of the original key (tab). if you havent the default layout from the game try to push the default keys. it was helping for me.

I just bought the game new for ps3 and I'm having the exact same problem but it also freezes the first time I go to sleep in the game. I exchanged it for a new copy today brought it home and its exactly the same, searched online and a few other people seem to have the same problem aswell. Its messed up I think Im just going to ask for my money back and maybe when I eventually get ps4 ill try it again.

Yeah I have the exact same problem. I just bought it brand new at EB games yesterday and when I noticed the horrible glitches and then it froze the first time I went sleep in the game. I took it back to EB today and got it exchanged for a new copy, and the exact same things are happening. So I guess Ill be bringing it back tomorrow for a cash refund and maybe Ill try this game out when I eventually get ps4.
